It’s getting cold here in Canada, no two ways around it. So to help us remember the better times, here’s Part 2 of the ‘Summer Daze’ photos from our trips through the BC Interior with Volume/Demolition, the Vancouver Island trip with Kink and some other random photos from Expocycle and Interbike. Here it is, the last edit from our summer tours this year. For this trip we headed out to Vancouver Island with the Kink team and rode a bunch of concrete and trails. This was a great trip to finish on, such a rad time with one of the best teams in BMX, some of the loosest nights of the summer for sure. Filmed by Luke Santucci and edited by Jeremy Deme.

This summer we hit the road a lot, from Quebec City to Vancouver Island and everywhere in between. We did a ton of riding but also had a ton of fun getting loose and hanging out with the crew. You’ve seen all of the riding in photos and video but now it’s time to see the behind the scenes stuff! I shot a ton of film over the summer and just spent a few days sorting through everything and setting up some galleries, so here you have it, part one of the ‘Summer Daze’ photogalleries.

I can’t say enough about the BC Interior, it’s one of the best places on earth. This trip was one of the highlights of our summer tours, so many great parks and spots, too many good nights and epic beach sessions. Check out some riding from the Volume and Demolition crew (Biz, Alfredo Mancuso, Andy Roode, Chijioke Okafo) as well as a few guests. Filmed by Luke Santucci, edited by Jeremy Deme.

When we were out on Vancouver Island with the Kink team for our last summer tour Jay Roe had a couple of disposable cameras on hand to document the trip for Defgrip. You can check out the gallery from our tour here to see how excited everyone was about Tim Horton’s.

Today was the last day of the trip and it was jam packed. We woke up early on the island and drove up to Nanaimo to catch the ferry there, got across, headed to 3 Ride for a bit to hang out and then hit up Horseshoe Bay skatepark for a great session. Doyle leaves tomorrow but everyone else is staying in town for a bit to chill and get some filming done, so watch out. Today we drove up to Duncan and hit Iguana Cycles and then met up with our boy Matt Beyers to ride the local trails. Trails two days in a row? Yea, that’s right, such a good time! Check out more photos after the jump and on the Kink site.

Today we took a long haul up to Courtney to ride some trails and it was well worth the trip. Adam Dyck has an amazing setup at his place and was rad to let us ride it for the afternoon. Cory Clarke is a local there and destroyed the place, dude has lines everywhere. The whole crew threw down, especially Doyle (with the superman above), KC and Tom right before it started to rain but thankfully Adam has a small indoor bowl setup that we rode for a bit before we took off.
