Phil Bartlett X Turndown Edit

A little late on this one but it’s still great. Phil Bartlett (Wethepeople) lays down some goods at the new Turndown park along with some of the other Newf homies. Shout out to Sean Slade for putting this one together. Ant life!

Catalog Cover Winners

Thanks to everyone who sent in their guesses for the catalog cover contest! This year’s spring/summer catalog cover boy is the big Newf, Phil Bartlett (Wethepeople), with a steep hangover tooth in Charlottetown, PEI during our east coast tour last summer, shot by Dave Scott.

The first two people who guessed correctly were Ryan Hiebert of Vancouver, BC and Alex Stratton of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland…congrats! Ryan and Alex will both be getting some goods from Phil’s sponsor, Wethepeople. Thanks again to everyone who submitted their guesses!

Phil Bartlett’s New Whip

Everyone’s favourite Newfie, Phil Bartlett (Wethepeople) sent over this photo of his glossy black C.R.E.A.M frame built up with a bunch of other Wethepeople parts. Phil and Greg Henry are fully supporting the four piece bar movement and loving it! Watch out for some more stuff from Phil soon!

Toronto Tour Edit (Stickied)

During one of the hottest weeks in August we had Corey Dewey, Phil Bartlett, Luke Santucci, Chris Silva and Chijioke Okafo in Toronto to shred and hang out. We hit up Core BMX in Toronto for a backyard BBQ, Jibs BMX in Burlington for an old fashioned parking lot jam, went swimming, had a couple zesty nights and rode a ton. Thanks to Chris at Core, Mark at Jibs and everyone else who came out to ride and hang out with us! This post is gonna be stickied to the top of the blog for a bit so check below for new posts.

Toronto Tour Last Days

Our Toronto tour came to an end yesterday which sucks ’cause it was a blast! On Saturday we hit up Core for a great backyard BBQ then did some riding at night followed by a trip to Burlington on Sunday to hit up the Jibs Back to School Jam and to shred some great spots around the area. We hit a ditch in Burlington that was so much fun, Chijioke blasts a downwhip in the photo above with Chris Silva and Phil Bartlett hot on his heels. The dudes stacked a ton of footage, this edit is gonna be wild! Check out a bunch of photos after the jump and thanks to Chris at Core BMX and Mark at Jibs BMX for being so rad and hooking things up for us and to the BMXFU crew for hanging out and shredding with us! Next stop, Montreal!

Toronto Tour Update 2

The Toronto tour so far has been good even though we’ve been battling the heat the entire time. We’ve been hitting a lot of spots in the east end and Scarborough and got some stuff done. Corey Dewey roasts a switch pegs to street gap yesterday in Scarborough in the above photo. Today we’re heading to Core at around 3PM for a little backyard BBQ and then an Ashbridges/street session afterward, come on out for some fun! Check out some more photos after the jump.

Toronto Tour Update

Yesterday was the first day of our Toronto trip and it was a scorcher. Phil Bartlett was melting from the second he got off the plane and everyone else was dying all day. We had a mellow session at Ashbridges skatepark but got some clips as well and today we’re gonna hook up with Chijioke and Silva to get some stuff done. Check out some more pics after the jump.
