The 2013 Kink Curb is the entry level model in Kink’s new complete bike line up and looks great. The Curb features a hi-tensile steel frame, fork and bar with Mission Paramount stem, Mission Triumph 3pc tubular chromoly cranks, Mission Function semi-sealed cassette hub, 25-9 gearing and Mission Kingston combo seat. The Curb is available in burnt orange (pictured above), dusk black w/blue and slate grey and weighs 25 lbs 15 oz. The new Vela and Lyra tires (Lyra pictured above with red sidewall) from Kink are both designed for all around riding but have two slightly different tread patterns. The Lyra tire has a more aggressive tread but still maintains a smooth profile to keep it fast and is available in 2.3″ size while the Vela is available in 2.1″ with a lower profile tread pattern. Both tires come with either black or red sidewalls and feature micro-knurling for extra traction, super tough and lightweight dual-ply casing and are rated for 85-100 PSI. Wire bead only. We received a bunch of new stuff from Kink including the Lyra tire, pictured above with red side, wall as well as the Orion rims, 18″ Bantam frame and fork, and Viridian V2 front hub. We also received a bunch of classic Kink parts in their new Fire Red, Army Green and Battleship Grey colourways! The Lyra tire is available with a black or red side wall in 2.3″ size and features a more aggressive tread that can still be used for street and park as well as dirt. Wire bead only.

The Vela tire is available with red or black sidewall in 2.1″ size and features a less aggressive tread than the Lyra tire. Wire bead only.

The Orion rims are extruded from a special grade 6000 series aluminum and have a hard anodize finish for better braking. They also feature a 16mm low profile design, 36mm wide profile for added strength and cross lace pattern and are available in silver only. Weight: 16 oz.

The Bantam 18″ frame features full 4130 chromoly construction, 18″ top tube, 13.25″ chainstay, 74.5° head tube, 70° seat tube, Spanish BB, investment cast dropouts with integrated chain tensioners and weighs 4 lbs 5.6 oz. Available in black only. The Bantam 18″ fork features full 4130 chromoly construction with a 32mm offset and heat treated steer tube and dropouts. Available in black only.

The Viridian V2 front hub features a hollow 15mm 7075-T6 aluminum axle, full CNC 7075-T6 aluminum shell, an extra wide flange offset, fully sealed bearings, and a refined axle/hardware design over the original version. Available in black, red and battleship grey in 36H only. Weight: 6.9 oz.

The Duo Martinez grip is made by ODI so you know the feel is spot on and the pattern is great.
