For his signature Belmont shoe with Almond, Ben Hucke wanted something that was a mid top that was simple, stripped back and desirable…he pretty much nailed it. The Belmont features a durable upper made from suede and nubuk leather, a thin padded tongue and collar, molded Almond polyurethane insole with comfortable foot bed cushion designed to absorb a wide range of impacts and reduce heel bruises, a fully engineered shock absorbing internal elastomere suspension core eva midsole, lightweight comfort and flexible vulc style cup sole construction and a sticky gum rubber outsole with grippy new Almond pattern. The Belmonts are available in black/gum, black/orange, and green/yellow in sizes 7, 7.5, 8, 8.5, 9, 9.5, 10, 10.5, 11, 11.5, 12, 13, 14. Almond’s new batch of shoes have arrived and damn do they look good! Ben Hucke’s signature shoe, The Belmont (pictured above), is the perfect riding shoe and is available in three colours including the all black suede/gum version above. Check out the other Belmont colourways as well as the new low-cut shoe, the Riviera, after the jump and do yourself a favour and get some of these on your feet! Everything’s available from our Vancouver warehouse now and will be in Toronto in the next couple days. The crew over at Almond have been working hard on some new stuff and they recently sent out a preview of the new Ben Hucke signature shoe, the Belmont. These things look great and the prototypes are already being ridden by Taylor Elvy here in Canada.
