Quebec/Ottawa Tour Edit

This trip was a blast! We rode a ton of stuff between Quebec City, Trois Rivieres, Montreal and Ottawa and had a great time with the Animal crew, so good to have them along for the ride. Thanks to Sean Cooke for coming along to film this one.

Winnipeg/Sask Tour…Done!

We wrapped up the Winnipeg/Saskatchewan tour yesterday and everyone’s home now. We all had a blast and Andrew Jackson went out on a high note, pulling off a rad move minutes before leaving for the airport. We had a great time with everyone, thanks to all of the shops and locals who made everything so good. Dave Hawthorne came along with us on this tour and grabbed some rad shots along the way. This one is of Jaumell Campbell (MacNeil) with a 270 tuck-no over the hip at Komenda Skatepark in Winnipeg on the first day of the trip. Check back for more soon!

KONTESTAMATOR

If you’re anywhere near Quebec City this weekend be sure to check out the KONTESTAMATOR comp that Oli @ Mathieu Performance is putting together. It’s the 5th year for the contest and every year it gets bigger and better.

Defgrip Disposed with Animal

The guys at Animal had a few disposable cameras with them while we were touring through Quebec and Ottawa and sent everything over to Defgrip for a ‘Disposed’ feature. Check the gallery out here, there’s even a few pics of Dill and Silva in there.

Winnipeg/Sask Update 4

Today we headed to Gene’s Cycle and Sports in Prince Albert, the weather started off a bit sour but the day turned out really well. We met up with Chad who runs the BMX section of the shop and some of the locals at the shop, signed some autographs, then headed to their amazing skatepark for the rest of the day where we had a huge game of B-M-X with the locals. There’s a super tight scene in Prince Albert and a lot of it has to do with how rad the crew at Gene’s is. They helped raise a bunch of money for the skatepark and make sure all of the locals are good to go. Check out a few more pics after the jump.

Winnipeg/Sask Update 3

The last two days have been pretty wild and filled with a ton of good times. Regina was a blast and the crew from Western Cycle showed us around the city where we checked out some dope spots, like the one where Jaumell did this rail hop to barspin rail hop, and the local skatepark. We ended the day with a night mission that turned up some gems.

Today we woke up and hauled up to Saskatoon where we met up with Jay and some locals at Doug’s Spoke ‘n’ Sport. We headed to their skatepark (which is amazing by the way) and hit up a ton of amazing spots afterward and discovered some wild spots. I didn’t take a ton of photos because some of the stuff was so wild only video could do it justice. Check out a few photos after the jump and we’ll see everyone in Prince Albert at Gene’s!

Winnipeg/Sask Update 2

We just got into Regina a bit ago after staying in Winnipeg a while longer to get some riding done. The weather was a bit off so we didn’t get much done before we left but we did get some rad clips. Wethepeople’s Andrew Jackson went off all day and fired out this 180 rail hop so smooth. Check out a couple more shots after the jump, and we’ll see everyone at Western Cycle tomorrow around noon!

Winnipeg/Sask Tour Update

So the Winnipeg/Saskatchewan trip is well underway and now that I have my computer and everything back (thanks Glenn!) the updates will be a lot more regular. We all got in yesterday and cruised around with the locals for the afternoon, started at The Forks and ended at Komenda. After a late night we headed to Royal Sports today and hung out for a bit before hitting some street where Sam Lowe fired out the over icepick above. Check out some more photos after the jump, and if you’re in Winnipeg, watch out, tonight’s gonna get wild…
