Things have been ramping up at Almond lately. They recently launched their new site and have started to announce exactly who will be on their team, starting with Federal’s funny man, Jared Washington. I got a preview of the most recent samples and they look so good, can’t wait until everything drops in the fall, keep your eyes open!

Before heading out on the last two tours through Edmonton/Calgary and Winnipeg/Saskatchewan I was talking to Harrison about doing a ‘Disposed’ feature for Defgrip. I took a few disposable cameras along with me and came back with some pretty entertaining stuff. Part One of the feature is up right now on Defgrip with photos like the one above taken during the Winnipeg/Saskatchewan tour, check it all out here and watch out for Part Two!

Team rider Chijioke Okafo recently sent through this photo that Mike Headford shot of him and his Volume built up with a bunch of new Demolition parts. Chi had surgery on his left shoulder a while back and has been in the healing process for a bit but has been getting back on the horse recently and should be back killing it soon. Watch out for Chijioke on an upcoming summer tour and a more in-depth bike check soon!

Darryl Tocco’s signature frame from Kink is available in 20.5″, 20.75″, and 21″ sizes and features a 71° seat tube, 75° head tube, 13.5″ chainstay and a 11.75″ BB height. The frame also has fully removable brake hardware and invest-cast hollow dropouts with integrated chain tensioners. Made out of 100% Sanko 4130 chromoly it weighs in at 4 lbs 14 oz (20.5″ size) and is ready to shred. Check it and other frames out in our online catalog here.

As I said in a post a bit ago, Dave Hawthorne came on the Winnipeg/Saskatchewan trip with us and shot a lot of great photos along the way, including the one above of Greg Flag (MacNeil) in Winnipeg doing a wild double peg to hop over. This spot was epic. Jams rolled down the ramp at the other end, weaved around the pillar and hopped over the bar-height rail straight into this smith grind. So good.
