Vancouver Tour Update 2

Day 2 was a pretty packed day, we started it off by hitting up 3Ride for the rail jam in the afternoon. Brad and Sam and the crew there had a dope set up for it and everyone got down. There was a best trick jam for a ton of Wethepeople prizes and the winners were stoked. After the rail jam we had a session at Kirkstone then hit up some spots in North Van with tour guide James Steele. Chester slid a wild uprail (above) and Andrew killed another spot before the end of the day. We’re hitting up the Canadian Concrete Jam at Lafarge today, come out if you can! Check out more photos after the jump.

Vancouver Tour Update

Things have been awesome so far on this Vancouver trip with the Wethepeople dudes. Greg Henry and I got in on Thursday and met up with Chester Blacksmith and Andrew Jackson later in the day. We had a real good session yesterday at Hastings and Confederation park and met up with Le Luke Santucci and some other homies. Andrew got down with moves like this downside pedal and everyone got some clips all over. We ended last night with the Colony DVD premiere at Ride On and some good times. Check out more photos after the jump (hit up the Wethepeople blog for some photos from Chester, too) and we’ll see everyone at 3Ride this afternoon at 2PM for the rail jam!

East Coast Update: Newf Edition

Today was our last full day of the trip and we had a time here in St. John’s. We met up with the locals at Turndown and had an awesome visit and session, thanks so much to Rob for hooking things up for us. If you ever need anything at all, be sure to swing by Turndown and Rob will hook you up. After the shop visit we hit up a rail spot and the crew completely destroyed it. Andy Roode laced an icepick across and down the entire thing, so wild. Check out some more pics after the jump, thanks to everyone here in St. John’s and to everyone else who helped us out during this trip!

East Coast Update 4

Today we left Halifax and now we’re on a 14 hour ferry over to Newfoundland which should be a wild ass time. We’ve been riding a ton  over the last couple days and everyone’s been killing it. Andy Roode destroyed this spot at Pier 21 with moves like this roller coaster toothpick. Check out some more photos after the jump and we’ll see everyone in Newfoundland at Turndown!

East Coast Update 3

This trip has been wild! We’re back in Halifax now after our trip to Charlottetown, PEI where we had a great time with the locals. We stopped in at MacQueen’s and had a great session at the park with the locals that ended with a game of footdown. The night got real wild when we ended up back at the skatepark in the dark with a keg full of beer…but that’s another story. Everyone clocked some clips, including Phil Bartlett who dive bombed this tooth hanger in downtown Charlottetown. Thanks to Dan and John and everyone at MacQueen’s for hooking us up with a great place to stay in the apartment above the shop and some amazing fresh salmon that Dan caught. Check some more photos after the jump.

East Coast Update 2

We’ve been having some good times out here on the east coast even though the weather’s been less than perfect. It’s been a lot colder than we thought and raining off and on but we’ve still been getting things done. Today we hit up Sportwheels in Sackville, NS and hung out for a bit then had a great session with everyone back at the Commons park. Greg Flag handplants in the bowl above, check out some more shots after the jump. We’re heading to PEI tomorrow and will be at MacQueen’s around 3PM, see you there!
