There’s a ton of stuff going on this coming weekend if you’re looking for something to do and somewhere to ride. On Friday, Element 51 are holding a jam at Le Taz skatepark in Montreal starting at 9:30PM. There’s going to be a ton of prizes for best tricks and more and it’s only $5 to enter. Greg Flag, Corey Dewey, Dillon Lloyd and myself will be there and possibly a few other guest stars. Check out the Facebook event page here.

Then on Saturday the first in a series of five events put on by Core BMX shop and others is going down at InFlow Skatepark in Dundas at 11AM. Check the flyer above for all of the details on that.

Chris Silva starts Sour Fever Clothing

Chris Silva Starts Sour Fever Clothing

Our boy Chris Silva (MacNeil/Animal) hit me up a while back telling me he was going to start a clothing company. He was super stoked on the idea and has been working hard at getting it going. Well, it’s all offical now and you can check out all of the product (all screened by Silva himself) and buy it at sourfever.com. Here’s what Chris had to say about it all…

“I’ve been lucky enough to have great sponsors help me out, but I thought it was time I take charge and do the same for the riders I think need support that aren’t getting much. I’m just trying to give back to BMX.”

Chris also did an interview on Repset about Sour Fever, check that out here.

If you’ve been in the Canadian BMX scene for a while, chances are you’ve seen this video quite a few times, so much amazing riding from some of the best. Here’s a quick quote from Tunney…

“This thing is mind-bottling, and it never got the recognition it deserved.”

Check out the whole post on the ESPN blog here and watch the whole Evolution video!
