If you can make it out to Vancouver Island this coming Saturday, April 26, be sure to swing by the Island Jam at the Courtenay Skatepark. This going to a ton of prizes for everyone, a BBQ and whole mess of good times. Get out there and support your local scene!
Chris Silva tears up the Harvester Bikes ramp with some serious moves on such a crazy tight set up.
Kink‘s new Stealth Pivotal system is now in stock and it’s pretty slick. The whole system is completely reverse-compatible with all other Pivotal seats and posts but the combination of their seat and post allows for quick access to the Pivotal bolt from the underside of the seat and makes for a unique looking setup. Check out the post and the seat below and hit us up to get it all in your shop!
By now everyone has heard the news but we wanted to release an official statement here on the site…
To our valued customers,
Over the last year, we have seen a drop in sales and profitability. This has led to a lot of discussion regarding where to go with Ten Pack in the future. As you know, it is hard to compete against the pricing in the US since most of the brands have their own distribution there which means that they sell to shops at a much lower price than we can and leads to a lot of cross border shopping. This has led us to decide to downsize our distribution and just focus on MacNeil Bikes, which is our own brand . We have started work on MacNeil complete bikes for 2015 and will continue to produce all of the great frames and parts that we currently offer. This will allow us to offer the MacNeil brand at a very competitive price.
For this year, we will sell through the inventory that we currently have but will not be bringing in any more so get it while you can.
Thanks for your continued support.
It’s all been a pretty wild ride, big thanks to all of the shops, our team riders, friends, the brands and anyone else who helped make things so great. For the sake of nostalgia, sit back and watch a bunch of videos from our past summer shop tours and check out more over on our Vimeo page. Onward and upward.
Both Chijioke Okafo and Greg Henry have a couple dope clips in this Ride BMX edit from this past weekend’s Toronto Jam. Check it out!
Our dude Andy Roode (Verde/Éclat) has been working on a couple edits since the end of summer and just dropped the first one as an Embassy exclusive. There’s a stack of righteous clips in here, a good mix of park and street goodness. Andy’s always had such a casual style and it really shows in this edit. Watch out for more from him soon!
We recently started flowing some goods to Winnipeg shredder Shawn Franz on the advice of Wayne Hartman and several others and he just sent through some pics of his new build. Shawn’s currently running a 2014 Wethepeople Sleepless frame with a stack of other Wethepeople parts. Check out some shots of his bike and a cool riding photo after the jump and watch out for more from him once things thaw out!
Our dude Dillon Lloyd (MacNeil/Éclat) killed it at Simple Session this past weekend and came away with second place in the Red Bull Best Trick contest and 14th overall in the finals. Catch a few clips of him in the above video from Ride BMX and watch the Best Trick coverage here. Hell yea, Dill!
Chris Silva (MacNeil/Animal) comes through with some more fire with this new feature edit for Ride BMX. Press play and watch Silva get all backwards and pegless crazy then head over to the Ride site to check out an interview with him here.
